Today, we reported on what we'd been tasked to research:

How thermal stress could cause glass to fracture, and what we could to to replicate this effect. You see, there was a window in the Vargas Museum (facing the east side) which cracked this March 17th. It could've been heat that caused the window to crack, especially since it resembles a thermal fracture very much.

Here is what I found:

We also brainstormed as to how we could replicate the crack on the glass we had, left over from the original window pane in the Museum.

We decided to make a room for the glass, and to heat one side with lamps and cool down the other side with ice, to see if it really was thermal stress that caused the crack.

That is all.
